2008 < 2009 < 2010

Great year, worked on tons of cool stuff and somewhere in between managed to squeeze out some apparel designs. (Just dropped a new design, check it out here) What I did not manage to squeeze out is a much-needed update to okpants.com which I'm happy to say is at the top of my "to-do's" for 2010. New blog, new work, new everything. There really is nothing like that new website smell.

With that, thanks to all my friends, family, collaborators and clients for an awesome 2009. I'm off to prepare for an epic 2010.

In other design related news, just finished up websites for best-selling author Philip Carlo and "The Lifestyle Specialist" Kenny Burns. The quest to update okpants.com continues and will see the light of day before 2010.

Summer Vacation

In Cleveland that means the door is open for enjoyable weather for about 17 days* until the snow returns. It also means it's time for a site re-design (actually that's more of a coincidence but it sounds good.) The 2010 model okpants.com should be rolling into dealerships on or around the Fourth of July*, so pour yourself a nice cold beverage, pull the old grill up to your favorite monitor and light up the sparklers, because it's going to be a hot Independence Day on the internet.

I get pretty excited about not blogging more on here, because more often than not it means I've been busy doing actual work. Some broadcast design work, some illustration as well as some various projects with my superstar buddies at Go Media.

A mentor/friend of mine David Fedan recently launched a blog, and if you're a fan of disturbingly talented illustrator/animators you should have already clicked this by now. I linked it twice, so now you have no excuse.


I got the opportunity this weekend to take part in a video shoot for Don Foose's new band Foose. Nothing like doing multiple mosh takes for Spudmonsters jams that supplied the soundtrack for some of the best times of my life. Some calories got burned, fun was had. It's Going To Be A Hot Season 5.

I was freaking out in anticipation as to how Carlton Cuse, Damon Lindelof and company were going to further blow my mind with this new season of LOST. But this video illustrates the epic level of genius I'm thrust on front of, when a hot pocket can trump flash forwards, time travel, smoke monsters, dharma beer and the like. I haven't been this happy about TV since I was 7.
