I was blown away to find some logo work I did a while back flipping through the pages of this stunning new book Band ID by designer Bodhi Oser. Get into it, there is a metric ton of amazing work in this book. Everything from the Black Flag 4 bars to my logo for Fight Paris.
A big giant poopload of work will be posted to my portfolio site within the next few weeks. Things have been relatively bananas, but it will be happily evident soon enough.
Hope everyone is well out there in webville. Get outdoors and do something outdoorsy, like viewing Iron Man.

A Fitting End To The "I'm F*cking" Era.
...Until they make a "I'm Fucking Jonah Hill" video, I feel this is a glorious and necessary end to the "I'm Fucking (insert celebrity here)" era of the viral video. Given the pace the internet ages anyways I'm sure this video is already locked away in a nursing home, but who would care in the name of laughter.
Mick Boogie's MCEO dropped yesterday if you haven't checked it out yet. Check a video out here from Talib Kweli about mixtapes, Mick, his google clout and more. Download it here.
If you're wondering what real ass genius is, check out the Food Party Blog and check out what my friends in New York are cooking up. Pun not intended. Okay, maybe a little bit.
That's all I got for now web. If I could ask you a small favor, please keep that midget Amy Winehouse video the heck away from me. Otherwise keep 'em coming.
Thanks.

The latest mega-sized special issue of Sole Collector hits newstands next week with 90 glorious pages dedicated to the history of the Air Jordan, laid out by yours truly. Pretty cool gig, and pretty cool people to be able to pull it off with. Thanks to Zac, Steve, Nicole and the whole gang @ SC for having me aboard. My brother, Lee, launched a blog this week dedicated to his craft of shooting & production, which in last weekend's case involved this:

All Messed Up But Nowhere To Go
As this blog de-evolves into a "things I held so dear when I was an indie teen weirdo that Youtube has delivered me back into the arms of" showcase, I'd be remiss to not post an Afghan Whigs video.
I decided I really like this video. Probably if for no other reason it's really making people mad and confused. I know hip hoppers are throwing themselves out windows over it in befuddlement, but Spike Jonze has been WTFing the shit out of people for like 2 decades now (as evidenced here as well) and now more than ever the medium could use a little of that anyhow.
And in the interest of balancing out the "words to pictures" ratio; here's a photo of Kanye, just because it has lasers in it.

For Valentine's Day I give you a NERD poster.
I made it myself.
Also, Because any reason to slap the word "NERD" on a big sheet of paper is a great one.
